The Elantra range offers two choices of engines including the 112 kW 2.0L petrol and the 150 kW 1.6L turbo petrol engine.
Perfect for the everyday drive, the Elantra Active and Elite comes with the 2.0 Multi-Point Injection (MPi) engine paired with either 6 speed manual or 6 speed automatic transmission. To add more thrill and fun to your drive, the Elantra SR Turbo comes with a 150 kW 1.6L turbo engine and sports suspension tuned to suit Australian conditions.

Stretch out and enjoy the spacious, well-appointed interior. Everything about the Elantra has been refined with appointments and finishes often only seen in the luxury class. The Elantra also introduces a more ergonomically functional, comfortable interior environment.

Advanced High Strength Steel (AHSS).

Ultra-high tensile quality steel produced from Australian iron ore is utilised in the Elantra. This provides an even stronger chassis and reinforced safety-critical areas, such as door modules with intrusion beams, to provide protection against side impacts.

Rear view camera

A rear view camera is standard on all models, making it easier to park in tight spots and helping you reverse safely.

Spacious boot

The Elantra’s 458L boot provides you with enough space for your groceries, weekend away trips, suitcases and more.

Dusk sensing headlamps with Daytime Running Lights.

As dusk sets in, or when you enter a dark area such as a car park or tunnel, the headlights automatically turn on. Daylight running lights switch on automatically when the engine is started and shine forward to make the vehicle more visible during the day.

Rain sensing wipers.

As soon as moisture hits the windscreen, the wipers are activated. No need to take your hands off the wheel or your eyes off the road.

An automatic windscreen defog function automatically adjusts the climate control system to clear the windscreen as soon as the first traces of condensation is detected.

Advanced High Strength Steel (AHSS).

Blind Spot Detection (BSD).

At speeds of 30 km/h or above, BSD uses radar sensors on either side of the rear bumper to detect vehicles next to and diagonally behind the Elantra. If a vehicle is present in the Elantra’s blind spot, BSD displays a visual alert in the exterior mirrors. If the driver proceeds to activate the corresponding indicator lights, a flashing visual warning is provided and an audible alert is sounded.

Six airbags & 5-star ANCAP rating.

Safety comes standard in the Elantra, including six airbags and a 5-star ANCAP rating to create a safer ride.

Rear parking assist system.

The rear and front* park assist system provides audible feedback, allowing drivers to identify any obstacles behind the vehicle.
